Lewis and Clark Memorial

This page will have photos and information about the history and restoration of the bronze memorial plaque of the Lewis and Clark Centennial by Adrian Voisin in 1934 at Jefferson High School in Portland, Oregon.

A bronze plaque is set under the Lewis and Clark Memorial which reads, “In tribute to the intrepid explorers Lewis and Clark who saved the west for the United States. May the youth of the west offer to our country trained minds and high ideals.”
